The above image is of just SOME of the many, many used needles our volunteers have picked up in Federal Way.  Many of these needles are coming out of our wetlands. Many are found in parks.  

Drug user "empowerment" programs and organizations are facilitating free distribution of needles and other drug paraphernalia in our community.  

These needle distribution vans draw in crowds of addicts from around the area, promoting drug use here in Federal Way.  

This is part of the reason we have seen such an explosion in the population of homeless drug addicts on our streets.  Large drug encampments have formed throughout the city. 

Drug users need to fund their habit, so Federal Way has seen an explosion in crime - including retail theft, vehicle theft, catalytic converter theft, burglaries, robberies, destruction of private property, prostitution, rape, gang activity, and even human trafficking.
